Keeping WordPress, your plugins, and your themes up to date is the simplest way to keep your site secure. The Updates page lets you decide what updates apply on their own.

Open your site, then under WordPress select Updates.

The WordPress Updates section shows your current version. Use the WordPress Auto Updates dropdown to choose how core updates apply, then click Save.

The Plugin Auto-Updates and Theme Auto-Updates sections list everything installed, with an auto-update checkbox for each. Tick the ones you want to update automatically, or use Enable All. Click Save when you are done.

For a one-off update, use the Update buttons on the Plugins and Themes pages instead.
