Wordify emails you when something on one of your sites needs you, and sums up the rest. You choose which of those emails you get, from one page in the Console.
Where to change it
Open Settings, then Email Notifications.
Switch a category on or off.
Click Save.
These settings belong to you, not to a team. They apply to your email address across every team you belong to, and nobody else's email changes when you change yours.
The three switches
Urgent site issues. When something on a site breaks and needs you now.
Daily site digest. One email a day, only when there's something new.
Weekly update digest. A weekly summary of the updates we ran on your sites.
All three are on until you turn one off.
Emails we always send
Billing and account emails have no switch: invoices, payments, and account changes are always sent.
Which update emails sit where
For Automated Safe Updates, the emails fall out like this.
Urgent site issues. Wordify protected a site, an update didn't apply and needs a decision from you, or a critical security advisory has just appeared.
Daily site digest. The once-a-day roll-up of everything else that needs attention, including updates waiting on a lapsed licence.
Weekly update digest. A Monday summary of what Wordify updated across your sites, and anything still waiting on you.
Unsubscribing from an email you've just received
Every optional email has a Don't want these? line at the bottom. Click it and Wordify opens a page that names the kind of email and the address it went to, and asks you to confirm.
Nothing changes until you confirm. Opening the link, or having a mail scanner open it for you, doesn't switch anything off. If your mail app shows its own Unsubscribe button, that works too.
To start receiving that email again, switch the category back on under Settings > Email Notifications.
What turning an email off doesn't do
It only stops the email. Automated Safe Updates keeps running exactly as before, and the record of what happened is still in the Console:
Tasks lists every Automated Safe Updates run and what each update did.
Site Health on the Dashboard shows anything that needs a decision from you.
A site's Updates page summarises its last run.
