How do I clear the cache?

If you have updated static objects that have been changed on your site and need them to be immediately cleared from the Smart cache follow these steps :

  1. From the Sites Page, Click the Configure (Cog) Icon next to the site you wish to update.

  2. On the Details click the Clear Cache button in the top right hand corner.

This will reset the Smart Cache deleting all static objects inside it. If you CDN is enabled this will also clear your CDN so any updated static objects will be retrieved from the server and recached on the next visit.

Hosting Tools Plugin

By installing the Hosting Tools plugin you can automatically clear the cache every time you make a change to your website.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my site look different when I'm logged in vs logged out? (CSS, styling, layout differences)

If you're seeing CSS or styling differences between logged-in and logged-out states, follow these steps: 1) Confirm Smart Cache is disabled (Sites > Configure > Details > Smart Cache status). 2) Clear your browser cache and test in incognito/private mode. 3) Check if you're using a page builder (Breakdance, Elementor, etc.) - page builders sometimes generate different CSS for authenticated users. 4) If using a page builder, try rebuilding CSS from the page builder settings (not Wordify). 5) If the issue persists and you're using a page builder, contact the page builder's support team - they can help troubleshoot conditional CSS generation. 6) If you're NOT using a page builder and the issue persists, contact Wordify support with screenshots showing the specific difference.
