The single sign-on (SSO) user controls which WordPress account Console signs you into when you click WP Admin on a site. Setting it takes a few seconds on the user's edit screen.
Set the SSO user
Open your site, then under WordPress select Users.
Find the user you want to sign in as and click Edit on their row.
Tick Set as SSO sign-on user.
Click Save Changes.
That user now shows an SSO badge in the users table, and the WP Admin button opens WordPress as that account. Only one user can be the SSO user at a time, so choosing a new one moves it across.
Which user should you choose?
Pick the account that matches how you want to work:
Administrator — full control of the site, for managing settings, plugins, and content.
A lower role such as Editor or Subscriber — open the site with limited permissions when you only need a restricted view.
Your own personal login — sign in as yourself so your activity is attributed to your account.
