The activity log records what has happened on a site: who did what, and when. It is the first place to look when you want to understand a recent change.

Open your site, then under Hosting select Activity.

Each entry shows the time, the user who performed the action, a group such as Staging, SFTP, or Backups, and a description of what happened. The most recent events are listed first.

Use the group filter at the top of the page to narrow the log to one type of activity, for example only backup events or only domain changes.
