For direct file access, every Wordify site can be reached over SSH and SFTP. Console shows you the connection details you need.
Find your credentials
Open your site, then under Hosting select SSH / SFTP. The page lists everything your client needs.
Host: the server address to connect to.
Port: the port for SSH and SFTP.
Username and Password: your login details.
Path: the folder your site's files live in.
The SSH/SFTP password is separate from your Console account password, and each site has its own. Changing your Console password does not change any site's SSH/SFTP password.
Connecting
Use these details in any SSH or SFTP client, such as Terminal, FileZilla, or Cyberduck. SFTP is the right choice for uploading and downloading files. SSH gives you a command line on the server.
Rotate your SSH/SFTP password
If you think a site's SSH/SFTP password may have been exposed, you can replace it in one click. On the SSH / SFTP page, click Rotate password at the top right of the card, then confirm.
A new password is generated and takes effect immediately. The old password stops working straight away, so update any saved connections, scripts, or automations that use it. Rotating affects that one site only. Your other sites and your Console login are unchanged.
Keep your credentials safe
Treat these details like any password. Anyone who has them has full access to your site's files. If they are ever exposed, rotate the password straight away.
