Overview
Wordify's WordPress User Management feature allows you to manage all your WordPress users directly from the my.wordify.com dashboard. This streamlined interface lets you create, edit, and delete WordPress users without logging into your WordPress admin panel.
Accessing User Management
Log in to my.wordify.com
Configure your site from the Sites dashboard
Click on the "WordPress" dropdown in the main navigation
Select "Users" from the dropdown menu
Viewing Your WordPress Users
The Users page displays a table with all WordPress users for your site, including:
User ID
Username
Email address
Role assignments
Action buttons for editing and deleting users
Creating New Users
To add a new WordPress user:
Click the "CREATE USER" button in the top right corner
Fill in the required information:
Username
Password
Email address
Role (Administrator, Editor, Author, etc.)
Click "CONFIRM" to create the user
Editing Users
To modify existing user details:
Click the pencil icon next to the user you want to edit
Update any of the following:
Email address - for users who need to change their login email
Password - helpful for users who are locked out
Role - modify user permissions as needed
Click "CONFIRM" to save changes
Common reasons for editing users:
Resetting passwords for locked-out users
Updating email addresses for users who have lost access
Modifying user roles and permissions
Fixing typos in email addresses
Deleting Users
When deleting a user, you'll need to handle their content:
Click the trash icon next to the user you want to delete
Choose another user to reassign the deleted user's content to
Click "CONFIRM" to proceed with deletion
Setting the Sign On User (One-Click Login)
The "WP Admin" button in your Wordify dashboard provides one-click access to your WordPress admin area without entering credentials. By default, this logs you in as the first administrator account. You can change which user is used for one-click login.
How to set the Sign On User
1. Go to WordPress > Users in your site dashboard
2. Find the user you want to use for one-click login
3. Click the pencil icon to edit the user
4. Toggle Sign On User to "Yes"
5. Click CONFIRM
The "SIGN ON USER" column in the users table shows which account is currently selected (displays "Yes").
Why change the Sign On User?
Client sites: Login as a client-specific admin account to see their customized dashboard
Testing: Access WordPress as different user roles
Audit trails: Ensure activity is logged under the correct user account
Security: Use a dedicated admin account for dashboard access rather than a shared one
Notes
Only one user can be set as the Sign On User at a time
The user must have administrator privileges
Changing the Sign On User takes effect immediately
